|
Lorrie is the
MTSA Region 5 representative to the board. She has been a member of
MTSA for 5 years. This is her first year on the board, so she is
depending on you to help her know your issues. |
|
She is a vocational rehabilitation
counselor, employed by the Michigan Department of Labor & Economic
Growth, Rehabilitation Services. Most people just say MRS, or
Michigan Rehab. She has a transition caseload of about 150 students
from Marquette Alger RESA schools. She has been with MRS since 1995. |
|
Lorrie lives in Delta County with
her husband and a very old cat. Their three grown sons usually live
other places. :-) They are 19, 20, and 26, so their lives are still
in flux like many of our transition students. Lorrie recently
returned to school to work on her second Master's at UW Stout,
where she is learning even more about transition. |
